HistoryXS Martial Arts Dojo (XS MAD) was founded by Master Jason B. Horne in New Orleans, Louisiana. Since its start, XS MAD has been known for more than its extra-curricular activities for school-aged children. It has been recognized as a crime and violence prevention program by community leaders and the media alike. Sensei Horne is an accomplished and well respected martial arts instructor who has dedicated over 25 years of his life to the martial arts. He is presently a 6th (Dan) Degree black belt in American Karate Do. In addition, we offer an after-school program which is the only of its kind in the metropolitan area. XS MAD was established in order to provide an intervention and prevention of crime in the city of New Orleans. The program was intended to give youth an outlet of self-expression, self-growth and improvement.
