Each and every day we are inspired by different things, it could be family, friends, art, imagination, beauty, or as simple as making someone laugh or smile. Turtle Island Designs was formed in 2003 from a simple request. It was outlet for me to create artwork and designs in my spare time. The named was inspired by what the Native Americans called mother earth. The turtle symbol signifies good health and long life. The hard shell of the turtle represents perseverance and protection.
