Since Hollywood South touched down in Louisiana thanks to our fantastic tax incentives, many have been dipping their toes in the water in the industry. Moviesets was created by a few of these said individuals. Gran Semmes and Lawrence Barattini have created a one of a kind venue composed of their already successful businesses including venues, prop houses and filming locations. Lawrence Barattini's Sideshow props has been renting out props to movies and TV shows being filmed in the south for 15 years now. Gran Semmes, owner of the already notable Race + Religious wedding venue and other filming locations has also seen such success being directly involved in the film industry. Their collective efforts have brought upon this unique venue that has more functionality and personality than most. Working as a prop house, venue, and potential film space, Moviesets A Reel Venue only continues to grow with the industry.
