Opened Life's Journey Bookstore in 1991. Hit by Hurricane Katrina in 2005. Forced to change the way we do business. It became a research & consultant phone only business as the building took extensive damage. It took 6 months to renovate & new roof. Insurance and rent made it too expensive to re-open as on ground retail bookstore. Beatrice is still providing consultant services after all these years to many of the same clients.
