LaFleur Park is operated by Calcasieu Parish, which was founded in 1840 and is governed by a member body known as the Police Jury. LaFleur Park provides facilities that include several boat launch sites and public restrooms. Located in Lake Charles, La., the park has tent campsites and more than eight camper sites with electricity. It also provides facilities for picnics and has tables spread throughout the park. The LaFleur Park maintains pavilions that provide spaces for organizing activities, such as family reunions, receptions and parties. The pavilion has folding tables and has a seating capacity of over 100 people.
