Howard-Tilton Memorial Library is a part of Tulane University and supports its undergraduate and graduate degree programs in humanities, social science, science and engineering. It houses more than 3 million print volumes and over 8,000 current serials. The library also collects government documents and microforms, as well as a range of nonprint media materials, such as sound and video recordings. Howard-Tilton Memorial Library offers e-journal options. The library provides workshops on library research skills for students and faculties. It features a collection of books and journals in the areas of Latin American studies, jazz and New Orleans history. The library is a cultural resource for researchers and scholars. Its access services department is responsible for the circulation and reserve desk, stacks maintenance, interlibrary loan and document delivery and network printing services.
