Volunteers of America of Greater New Orleans is a human services organization. It offers the Louisiana Spirit Crisis Counseling program, which includes counseling and support services for hurricane survivors. The organization operates a family resource center that provides substance abuse counseling, anger management, family preservation and transportation services, as well as various after-school programs, including homework assistance, tutoring sessions and recreational activities.
