A handsome example of Depression-era architecture, the Gretna Cultural Center for the Arts was constructed in 1936 as a U.S. Post Office. Purchased by the City of Gretna in 2006, exterior restoration was completed in 2008, and all interior renovations were completed in 2016 to convert it into a black-box theater.
