Florien High School serves more than 500 students in pre-kindergarten through grade 12. The school offers classes in math, science, reading, language arts and social studies. It academic curriculum also includes business studies, agriculture education and fine arts. Florien High School provides a range of athletic activities, such as basketball, baseball, volleyball, cheerleading and cross-country. The school offers special education and gifted and talented programs. It has a parent-teacher association that works against alcohol, child and drug abuses, as well as television violence and tuition tax credits. In addition, Florien High School provides membership options for various clubs and organizations, including the Future Farmers of America (FFA) and the Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD). The school is governed by the Sabine Parish School District, which operates several elementary, middle and high schools.
