History
We've had several landmark moments since opening. After a few moves, we settled into our flagship location in San Francisco in 1997. In 2001, the standard fit collection launched, and it remains the only corset line based on a true average of modern bodies. Dita Von Teese commissioned her first Dark Garden corset in 1996, the first of many celebrity commissions, and it was in a Dark Garden corset that she graced the cover of Playboy in 2002. In 2009 we designed the look for The Sirens of New Orleans and began visiting New Orleans twice annually to create their pieces. At this time founder Autumn Adamme fell in love with New Orleans and began dreaming of opening a boutique here. 2015 and 2016 saw a cross-continental cameo collaboration with the famed Mister Pearl, first with Autumn working with him in Paris and then he joined our team in San Francisco for 8 months. In 2019 we opened our first additional location in New Orleans.
