Since its debut in New Orleans in 1946, Brennan s Restaurant, founded by Owen Edward Brennan, has created some of the most famous and imaginative dishes in the French Quarter. Its breakfast menu offers entree items including Crabmeat Omelette topped with Hollandaise Sauce as well as Eggs Hussarde. The dinner menu offers an extensive selection of entrees including fresh local seafood, veal and prime beef, Trout Nancy, Veal Kottwitz and Tournedos Chanteclair. In addition, dessert offerings include the Bananas Foster, among the most requested item on the restaurant's menu.
