Audubon Nature Institute is a family of various parks and museums, located in New Orleans, dedicated to nature and wildlife preservation. The institute operates several parks, including Audubon Zoo, Audubon Aquarium of the Americas, Entergy IMAX Theater, Audubon Louisiana Nature Center, Audubon Center for Research of Endangered Species, Freeport-McMoRan Audubon Species Survival Center, Wilderness Park, Woldenberg Riverfront Park, and Audubon Park. Its Audubon Park features oak and lagoon trees, and also has a golf course and club providing its facility for picnics, recreational activities, and relaxing. The zoo offers natural habitat exhibits and an animal collection ranging from white alligators to white tigers. It also has a marketplace gift shop that features a variety of toys, apparel, educational games, jewelry, unique gifts and New Orleans items. Audubon Insectarium is one of the largest museums in the United States displaying more than 900,000 known species of insects and their relatives.
