History
Established over 40 years ago, the Arts Council has grown from informal discussions at the grass roots level into a vibrant organization with ten professional staff, and a dedicated Board of Directors. From the very start, our efforts have always been supported and bolstered by Baton Rouge's generous patrons, sponsors and community leaders. We thank all of our annual members and contributors, past and present, and look forward to another 40 years of cultural programming and artistic celebration.
