She has a Bachelor of Science Degree from Loyola University and graduated Summa Cum Laude. Numerous awards including Outstanding Undergraduate Student in Education, Who's Who Among American Colleges & Universities, several Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office service commendations and was honored by the American Society for Industrial Security for Outstanding Law Enforcement Service. She is a Louisiana State Licensed Private Investigator who is also approved by the state board to instruct continuing education hours. In December 2004, she was appointed to the Louisiana State Board of Private Investigator Examiners and served as the Training and Education Chairperson.
