The Hopkins County Family YMCA is a nonprofit, Christian-based organization that provides a range of social and recreational services and programs for children, families and communities. It administers several youth fitness programs for individuals between the ages of 7 and 18. The organization offers opportunities for members to participate in sports activities, such as soccer and basketball. In addition, the Hopkins County Family YMCA conducts the YMCA Black Achievers program. The organization maintains the Hopkins County Family YMCA Kids Center. It also administers an aquatics arthritis program that is an exercise class for individuals with arthritis. The Hopkins County Family YMCA serves more than 2,000 member units.
