History
Founder and proprietress Rosalie Swann embarked on a new path for herself after her husband's passing in the early 1990s, a decision that would result in the conversion of their beautiful home to a Bed & Breakfast Inn for everyone to behold. Situated at the center of Cygnet Farm, a spectacular 20-acre setting Rosalie and John Swann purchased in the late 1960s, Swann's Nest Inn was established in 1993 and is located in the heartland of Kentucky's world-renowned thoroughbred country, just 8 miles from downtown Lexington. Rosalie Swann's commitment to celebrating the best that life has to offer for visitors to Swann's Nest Inn has transformed her dream home into a dream destination for the multitude of guests - newcomers and repeat visitors alike, many of whom are now lifelong friends - who visit year-round. Her heartfelt hard work and fortitude have made Swann's Nest Inn a magnificent must-see for everyone who visits the breathtaking Bluegrass.
