Southeast Kentucky Community and Technical College, established in 1960, offers diplomas, transfer programs and certificates in technical education. The various programs offered by the college include accounting, residential plumbing, sales marketing and management, automotive technology, carpentry, construction, electricity, dental assisting, fire service, and business studies. The amenities offered by the college include library, media center, auditorium, museum, and dining and lodging facilities. The library offers a variety of books, journals, magazines, research papers, newspaper, and online databases to students and teachers. It also provides various services to students, such as academic consultation; coordination and supervision of student activities; and placement and transfer assistance. Southeast Kentucky Community and Technical College has campuses located in Cumberland, Harlan, Middlesboro, Pineville and Whitesburg, Ky.
