The South Central Kentucky Cultural Center , is also known as the Museum of the Barrens. The history of life in the Barrens that includes Barren, Metcalfe, Monroe, Hart, and Allen Counties is illustrated in exhibits from early settlement to life in the 1960s. The museum is housed in the old Kentucky Pants Factory building located just off the Square at 200 West Water Street in the heart of Glasgow, KY. In addition to museum exhibits there is a genealogy library, a small gift shop, and an Art and Antique Mall located on Main street.
