Sheridan Langford, M.D. earned a bachelor's degree in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University and a medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, completing her pediatric residency at Norton Children's hospital. Dr. Langford, who was designated a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) in 2015, also holds memberships in the KY chapter of the AAP and the American Pediatric Program Directors (APPD) Global Health Learning Community. She an Assistant Professor at the University of Louisville, the Assistant Director of the Global Education Office at the School of Medicine, and Co-Director of Global Health Education for the University of Louisville pediatric residency program. Additionally she is a Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC) and the Course Director of the Poverty, Social Justice and Children's Health elective for pediatric residents. Originally from Texas, Dr. Langford enjoys cooking and urban gardening with her husband and two children.
