Recognizing Louisville's need for a higher end bar that is open late, Jeremy Johnson (former General Manager of the Blind Pig and Co-Founder of Meat, in Butchertown) and Hannah Kandle (formerly with Basa and Relish) opened Meta on Chestnut Street downtown. Formerly Shumann's Click Clinic and more recently the strip club
