Founded in 1920, Lexington Clinic is one of the oldest and largest multispecialty health care services providers in Kentucky. The clinic specializes in more than 30 medical specialty areas and maintains over 20 locations throughout its service area. It houses John D. Cronin Cancer Center, which is a cancer treatment center that serves patients from central and eastern Kentucky. Lexington Clinic maintains several departments that specialize in allergy, audiology, behavioral health, cardiology, dermatology, endocrinology, gynecology, internal and family medicine. It also operates the Lexington Clinic Foundation, which is a nonprofit organization that funds a variety of scholarship, medical research, health screening and public education programs. In addition, Lexington Clinic provides oncology, radiology, urology, and hand, general and cardiothoracic surgery services.
