Justin W. Gorski, M.D., Ph.D., is a board-certified gynecologic oncologist with Norton Cancer Institute. He specializes in treating cancers of the female reproductive system, including ovarian, uterine and cervical cancers. Dr. Gorski earned his medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He completed his residency at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York, New York, and a fellowship in gynecologic oncology at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine, Lexington, where he also earned a Ph.D. in clinical and translational science. Dr. Gorski has a strong interest in research and has served in research roles at several medical centers and institutions. His research interests include early detection of ovarian cancer and development of new strategies to treat platinum-resistant disease. He has received numerous awards and honors, including the T32: Oncology Research Training for Surgeon-Scientists from the University of Kentucky in 2020, and has been a member of the Society of Gynecologic Oncology, the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and the American Medical Association. Dr. Gorski is part of a multidisciplinary team at the leading edge of rapidly developing improvements in gynecologic cancer treatment.
