Robert A. Schwartz, M.D., is a board-certified cardiologist and electrophysiologist who specializes in cardiology and electrophysiology. Dr. Schwartz earned his medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, where he also completed his internal medicine residency, as well as fellowships in cardiology and electrophysiology. Dr. Schwartz is a member of the American College of Cardiology, Kentucky Medical Association, Greater Louisville Medical Society and the Heart Rhythm Society. In addition to clinical cardiology, Dr. Schwartz has special interests in electrophysiology, radiofrequency ablation, pacemaker/AICD: Automatic Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator and lead extraction. Dr. Schwartz’s mission is to provide the highest quality, compassionate, patient-centered care in the area of cardiovascular medicine. Away from the office, Dr. Schwartz enjoys spending time with his family.
