History
Covington Yoga was established several years ago by Charlotte to allow her to bring her passion of yoga to Covington, Downtown and the NKY communities. She feels her passion is to bring yoga into peoples' lives for it transformative and health reviving qualities. Into anyones' life that would listen that is! Before moving to the Cincinnati area, Charlotte had lived in San Francisco and England and most recently traveled around the world. In San Francisco, she saw how the yoga community involved so many individuals and the general populace shared this amazing tool for living life healthier. She wanted to help bring this to other communities across the country.
Specialties
Covington Yoga is a yoga studio the old fashioned way. Located in a historic building with natural light streaming in, it is a peaceful, homey place to bring your yoga or pilates practice into life. The instructors are friendly and passionate about what they do, and there is much individual attention for adjustments and explanations of complicated poses. Covington Yoga has a good sense of growth and community and is a great place to not only improve your yoga studies, but to develop new friends and connections. Check out some of our specialty classes: the Friday night Yoga Unwind, Rewind class, a fun non-traditional class followed by food and drink and socializing if desired. There is the early morning Meditation and Wake Up Yoga class, a wonderful way to center and find focus for your day followed by preparing the body to take on the day! Then there are our yoga hikes in the warmer months and our Candlelight yoga Sunday evenings for a relaxing end to your weekend.
