History
15 years ago, on a whim, I made the decision to go to culinary school. Not for work, but for knowledge! It took me about three years to get a two-year degree because I was working two jobs and doing one class a week when I started. I had started a career in carpentry around the same time that I started culinary school. It was actually the same day that I took my Carpenter's test I was on my way home and just randomly stopped in Sullivan to see what I needed to do to be able to go to college. I did not wake up that day thinking that I was going to start school the next day! However, I was told I could get my books that day and start class the next day! So, I did!. A week later I got my results from my Carpenters Apprenticeship test, which I passed! This story definitely does not stop here. I wore many hats in my days, to say the least! Schedule a dinner with me and I'll tell you the rest!
Specialties
Hello and thank you for your interest in Chef It Up! My price is $100 per person plus the cost of food. The food cost will depend upon your menu choice. Your meal will consist of an appetizer, entree, and dessert. I try to make each meal tailored to you as much as possible. So, I will ask you what are some of your likes and dislikes when it comes to meat, seafood, and dessert. I will use this information to create your menu. I will go ahead and purchase the ingredients a couple of days before your dinner. That way, I am able to prep some of the things that will take longer. You can just reimburse me the food cost the night of your dinner. Cash is best! But I also accept Venmo, PayPal, and CashApp. I will use all of my own pots, pans, plates, and silverware so you will not have to worry about a thing. I will just need your kitchen and your appetite! Generally, it takes about three and a half hours from the time that I arrive, until the time that I am done cleaning up and out the door.
