Baptist Regional Medical Center is a 240-bed hospital that provides Christian-oriented health care services to residents in Whitley, Knox, Laurel, Bell, Jackson, Clay, McCreary, Harlan and Campbell counties in Kentucky and Jellico County in Tennessee. In addition to inpatient and outpatient medical and surgical care, Baptist Regional Medical Center offers state-of-the-art technology and specialized services, such as magnetic resonance imaging, neonatal intensive care, laser surgery, women s health services, inpatient rehabilitation, addiction counseling, outpatient diagnostics and specialty clinical services. Baptist Regional Medical Center opened in Corbin, Ky., in 1986 as a replacement facility for the former Southeastern Kentucky Baptist Hospital. The hospital was selected as the 1999 regional winner by 100 Top Hospitals TM: Regional Benchmarks for Success Study. Baptist Regional Medical Center is a member of Baptist Healthcare System, one of Kentucky's largest nonprofit health care providers.
