This family run BBQ restaurant got it's start when Lisa Brown teamed up with a dearly departed friend to start the company. Several years later Lisa partnered again, this time it was with her mother, Sudie Colson Holdman. As each brother grew up, they to joined the business. This is truly a family owned and operated restaurant in the busy mall area. An area where mostly national or regional chain restaurants are found. These days you will find Lisa's brothers, Tristan and Matthew Holdman, managing the operations and taking wonderful care of our loyal customers as well as every new Backwoods diner that comes in the door. Also, we have offered catering from the start and Tristan would be pleased to help you with your catering needs.
