In the mid 70's Paul McGannon was a student trainer at Rockhurst College. At that time the Kansas City Kings NBA team practiced at the gym on campus. Many young athletes would come to watch practices. They would seek advice from Paul and the Kings trainer about their various injuries, aches and pains. As Paul moved onto grad school and his first job as an Athletic Trainer with the Kansas City Royals, it became clear to him that there was a need for skilled therapy for the average person. At about the same time his cousin, Molly McGannon Sauder, was graduating from KU with her degree in Physical Therapy.
