Dr. Michael Flanery, D.C. & Dr. Steven Flanery, D.C. are brothers who work together in the offices of KC Sports Docs. Michael has practiced in Overland Park, KS since 2010 and provides certified Active Release Techniques (ART) from the onset of his practice. Dr. Flanery has had the opportunity to work with the Kansas City Chiefs Football Club, treating their players and staff, as well as the Kansas City Ballet. Dr. Flanery has also treated amateur MMA fighters and professional racquetball athletes. In high school, Dr. Flanery participated in football and wrestling, and it was then he realized the potential healing qualities of ART combined with chiropractic treatment. Dr. Flanery maintains an active and healthy lifestyle that includes sporting events, regular exercise, and a diet full of raw foods.
Dr. Steven Flanery graduated from Logan University in St. Louis in 2012. At Logan, Dr. Flanery focused on Sports Chiropractic. He specialized in bio-mechanics, functional assessment, sports injury screens and rehabilitation. There he received instruction by chiropractors from the St. Louis Cardinals, Rams and Blues. Dr. Flanery completed his internship under the Sports Chiropractor of the Year, 2012, where he had the opportunity to treat Olympic athletes as well as the football and wrestling teams at the University of Missouri. He is certified in ART and a certified Kinesio Tape provider. In his free time, Dr. Flanery enjoys spending time with his wife, Jenna, and newest addition to their family, daughter Evelyn. He actively pursues a healthy lifestyle by way of proper exercise, nutrition, rest and chiropractic care.
Drs. Flanery are dedicated to providing their patients with the best care possible to keep them performing at their highest level, whether that be in competitive athletics or simply completing their daily activities free from pain.

A thorough hands-on treatment that will usually take between 20-30 minutes. We will not rush you in and out.
Within a few treatments, we know if we are going to be able to correct your problem. If you don’t make steady or dramatic improvement, we will refer you to another health care professional.
You pay as you go – no expensive pre-payment plans.
