Kira Ottaway Watt opened Perfect Plate Maize in April 2018. A little more than a year later, she opened Perfect Plate - Garvey, located inside the Kiva of the Garvey building. Kira began her journey with health and fitness in 2011 when she made a split decision to lead a healthier lifestyle. She lost 85 pounds and gained a lifetime of intention to help others get healthy. She made a complete 180 degree turn from being a pastry chef to being a healthy chef! After helping her cousin Julia lose 60 pounds with her meal prep, Kira came up with the idea for Perfect Plate.
