Project Eagle Community Programs has been providing child development and family support services since 1989 and presently serves over 4,000 children and families. The organization is a part of the University of Kansas Medical Center. Its Early Reading First program prepares children in cognitive, early language and literacy skills. Project Eagle Community Programs offers oral language, phonological and print awareness and alphabet knowledge support services. It has a staff of mentor coaches that provides ongoing daily support to teachers in the classroom setting. The organization offers classroom assessment and evaluation, behavior observation, DIBELS letter naming and picture vocabulary tests. It is located in Kansas City, Kan.
