Pattie Beller Dance Studio

Founded in 1955, Beller Dance Studio maintains an 11,000-square-foot-facility that offers classes in jazz, ballet and tap dancing in Overland Park, Kan. The studio also provides sessions in cheerleading, hip-hop and Tumbling. It has a staff of more than 20 instructors. In addition, Beller Dance Studio offers gymnastics classes that include working with bars, beam, vault and other equipment. The studio conducts workshops on topics, such as basic skill development and body awareness. Its sponsor list includes Superior Color Graphics, Cellulite Technologies, Dan Row Construction, King Hagen Lawn Care, Aphinity Communications and Strategic Healthcare Concepts.

About Our Studio We offer a well-rounded program with classes in tap, jazz, ballet, hip hop, pointe and lyrical, beginning through advanced levels, ages three and up. Emphasis is placed on technique and performance. We teach a progressive syllabus and produce two shows a year: a holiday showcase in November or December and a traditional recital in June. Guest teachers from the professional dance worlds of college, university, the stage and New York teach master classes throughout the year.
