Founded in 1960, the LeRoy Cooperative Association provides primarily grain handling. The co-op s storage capacity at its locations in LeRoy, Westphalia and Gridley, Kan., consists of more than 2 million bushels. The company s chemical and fertilizer application equipment include several rogators, liquid floaters, a dry fertilizer spinner and a dry fertilizer air machine. In addition to grain handling, the co-op operates tire shops in LeRoy and Westaphalia, offers farm-delivered fuel and sells feed from each of its locations. Also available for sale through the co-op are seed, bagged fertilizer, animal health supplies, livestock equipment, twine, oil, pet foods, liquid feed, tires, batteries and automotive accessories. Services provided by the co-op include vehicle alignment, brake lathing, grain vacuuming and soil sampling.
