BCCC Child Care Development Center
Barton County Community College has been operational for more than 55 years. Located in Great Bend, Kan., the college enrolls more than 5,000 students annually. It offers a wide variety of student service, such as academic advising, activities department, multipurpose cafeteria, career and child development center, clubs and organizations, college health solutions, computer and science laboratories, disability services, on-campus housing, and orientation and prevention programs. In addition to bachelor s, master s and doctoral degrees, it provides several special programs, including alliance for graduate education in the professoriate, international education and study abroad modules, online and long-distance learning, presidential scholarships, project renaissance, and transferring services. The college s library house more than 1 million volumes, and offers alumni support, circulation services, e-reserves, geographical information systems solutions, group study rooms, and instruction and tutorial services.
