HistoryWestbrooke began as a small group of people committed to learn, teach and share the truth of Jesus Christ. Though Westbrooke was initially linked with the General Association of Regular Baptist Churches, since 1980, we have chosen to operate as a nondenominational church sharing the same historic Christian faith found in the Bible. We continue to be committed to our regular attendees and to reaching out to the greater KC area We're a regular group of people who believe the same very important things. We are loved by the same God and saved by the same Savior. We're not perfect, we don't have it all together, and we need lots of help and encouragement to keep going. We also love each other a lot, and want to help other people know the same love that we receive from Jesus.SpecialtiesOur worship services are designed to involve the congregation in praise and adoration. We focus on Jesus Christ through our songs and prayers. Our teaching encompasses the remaining time as we focus on God's message to us. We hope that this worship format will help stimulate each one to respond personally to God's will for his or her life.
