Central Kansas Foundation is a nonprofit organization founded in 1967 providing alcohol and other drug abuse treatment and prevention services. The foundation includes an alcohol and drug information school, intermediate and outpatient treatment, and relationship counseling. Alcohol and other drug information school is an educational program designed to inform participants about the physical, psychological and social effects of using alcohol and mind-altering chemicals. It also provides aftercare to aid individuals in achieving long-term recovery and to assist them in developing solutions for everyday living problems. The services provided also include assessment and referral, outpatient counseling, day and evening treatment programs, supervisor training, consultation, and resource materials. Central Kansas Foundation offers residential intermediate treatment services and outpatient treatment sessions, including group discussion, lectures, written assignments and activities.
