Mt. Calvary Cemetery is a part of Catholic Cemeteries of Wyandotte and Johnson Counties, an archdiocesan effort that began in 1967 to consolidate the accounting of five cemeteries located in the two counties. Mt. Cavalry Cemetery has more than 25,000 ground burial locations. It offers various services, including traditional grave spaces, and indoor and outdoor mausoleum crypts. It also offers single and double lawn crypts, burial vaults and cremation urns and vaults, memorial markers and upright monuments, memorial floral programs, temporary grave markers, memorial benches, landscaped patios, and chapel services. Mt. Calvary Cemetery also provides grave side services, regularly scheduled masses, preplanning assistance, family service counselors, perpetual care, parish bereavement, organization assistance, on-site location assistance, annual Memorial Day observance, genealogy assistance, and memorial engraving.
