Woodward Resource Center serves and supports people with mental retardation and other disabilities throughout the State of Iowa. It also provides consultation and other support to families and individuals who provide services and care to people with disabilities. Consultations are provided by staff members where the consumer lives and works or goes to school, or can be provided on the campus or ICN if the customer prefers. Time-Limited Assessments are offered for a period of up to 31 days on the Woodward campus in order to determine effective treatment options that can be used to support a consumer in the community. The staff also provides follow up services when the consumer returns home. The Woodward Resource Center maintains an ongoing association with North Carolina Division TEACCH to provide high quality services and training to support people with autism.
