Located in Williamsburg, Iowa, Williamsburg Community School District includes Williamsburg and Mary Welsh Elementary Schools and Williamsburg Junior Senior High School. The School District employs more than 90 teachers, including Title I, special education and gifted and talented teachers. Williamsburg Elementary School enrolls students in grades kindergarten and one. Mary Welsh Elementary School offers classes from grade two through six. The high school has more than 546 students in grades seven through 12. The school district has a large media center, auditorium, gymnasium, pool, new facilities for vocational education and several new classrooms. The district also provides students with alternative education through the Kirkwood Community College.
