Our Founder, John Ulrich came to America in 1868, and brought with him his recipe for what is now known as Pella Bologna. In 1900, he built the Market and Smokehouses that we are still using today, to produce Award Winning Products like, Genuine Dried Beef, Canned Beef, Beef Sticks and over 100 other Meats and Imported Cheeses from Holland.
