The Shelby County Historical Museum houses thousands of artifacts that illustrate Shelby County's history and the many people who have shaped it. Visitors can explore our 4-building complex includes two original log cabins dating to 1856 and 1857. Our collection also includes various artifacts ranging from objects relating to Native American history to the inaugural gown of Iowa's First Lady Agnes Kraschel.
