Pella Regional Health Center provides patient care for Pella, Iowa, and its surrounding communities. The hospital houses departments for emergency and urgent care, dialysis, medical imaging, nutrition services, long-term care, hospice and home health services, laboratory and pharmacy, obstetrics, cardiac rehabilitation, sleep disorders, occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech therapy, respiratory care and occupational health. Pella Health Center is a private, nonprofit facility that is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations. Pella Regional Health Center initially opened in 1960 as Pella Community Hospital. In 1996, the hospital merged with Pella Medical Clinic to become Pella Regional Health Center. Satellite family health centers opened in the neighboring communities of Bussey, Monroe, Sully and Knoxville, Iowa.
