I love walking the trails along the river. It's very picturesque. I love the stairs that go down to the river. It's great for a family hike as well.

Palisades is my favorite local outdoor escape. My only complaint is that it's not a larger park, mostly so the trails can be longer. They have a few different routes to explore through the woods...

The park is beautiful. There are a lot of trails as well as places to camp (reservations must be made I believe). There needs to be more clarity for trails versus maintenance trails hahaha....

Very pretty drive through the park. We didn't camp, just drove through. The area was very pretty, especially with the sun setting. Good place for a picnic or just some scenery.
