North Liberty Recreation Department is one of the departments of the city of North Liberty in Iowa that offers recreational and sports activities. It operates and manages various parks and recreational areas, such as the Beaver Kreek Park and Koser Park. The department works on the guidelines of the North Liberty Parks and Recreation Commission. Its parks feature basketball courts, ice skating rink, youth and adult softball, soccer and baseball fields. Additionally, its recreational parks provide facilities for organizing picnics for private and group members, fishing, volleyball and tennis courts, rugby fields and pedestrian trails. The department also provides various programs for the youth, such as dance classes, and before and after school programs for children in grades kindergarten through six. Additionally, the department provides aquatic activities through swimming classes, and indoor and outdoor pools for people of all ages.
