Hills & Dales, established in 1973 is a nonprofit, human services organization, providing services to individuals with mental and physical disabilities. It provides brain injury care and rehabilitation services, including programs for improving physical movements and communication skills, and also offers variety of recreational activities. The center provides health welfare and safety services for individuals. It provides support and assistance for individuals in developing various skills. The center also provides nursing and postsurgical services, including gastrostomy tube placements and spinal rod insertions. It also assists individuals with hearing and visual impairments and those suffering from cerebral palsy, respiratory ailments, spasticity and seizures. The center also provides specialized treatment and therapies. Additionally, it has a life training center that assists in use of adaptive equipment, such as wheelchairs, beds, walkers and dietary utensils. Its consultants include physical therapists, psychologists, speech pathologists, occupational therapy assistants, dietitians and orthotists. The center also offers waiver programs, such as respite services and support for communities.
