Hoover High School
Hoover High School, founded in 1967, offers education to students in grades nine through 12. Its curriculum includes subjects, such as science, business, journalism, special education, band, English and library science. The school s subjects also include social studies, foreign languages, and physical, career and technical education. The extracurricular activities provided by the school include academic decathlon, drama, orchestra, knitting, band, forensics, student council, vocal music and National Honor Society. The school offers a variety of sports activities, including football, cross country, basketball, bowling, soccer, tennis, cheerleading, swimming, wrestling and Olympics.
