Founded in 1996, Mid-Iowa Cooperative is a full-service central Iowa farmer-owned cooperative. It offers a wide range of services in the areas of agronomy, seed, grain, livestock feed, refined fuels and liquid propane. The organization also provides consultancy services in grain merchandising and marketing. It organizes cash bids for a variety of agricultural commodities, such as corn, oats and beans. Its grain department provides programs in storage, contracting, elevator and direct ship pricing and marketing contracts. It has an agronomy center that undertakes various programs, including crop protection, custom application, soil testing, crop scouting and field mapping. The organization supplies seeds of Monsanto, NK Brand, Croplan and Ottilie companies. Mid-Iowa Cooperative is located in Beaman, Iowa, and has offices throughout Iowa.
