Prior to leaving in the morning, the bags were closed.

The owner of the hotel fancies himself a leader, apparently. Good job, throwing people out on the street in the below-freezing late night.

"Sweet" note left by the housekeeper who seemingly didn't want to make our bed, so she took clothes out of our suitcase, put them on the bed

Our friendly neighborhood PD, rolling up after we'd reported our bags being rifled/gone through by the housekeeper.
