Giorgio Zanotti, MD, is a cardiothoracic surgeon specialized in adult heart surgery. He has a special interest in mitral, aortic, tricuspid and pulmonic valve surgery, including minimally invasive surgery, implantation of mechanical assist devices and heart transplantation. Dr. Zanotti is a diplomate of the American Board of Thoracic surgery and of the American Board of Surgery. He is a member of the Society of Thoracic Surgery, the International Society for Heart and Lung Transplantation and the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Zanotti has numerous publications in international journals and presented at several international meetings such as the American Heart Association, American College of Cardiology, Society of Thoracic Surgery, International Society for Heart and Lung Transplantation, American Association for Thoracic Surgery and American College of Chest Physician annual meetings.
