The Vevay Swiss Inn has had many names and owners but it is recognized as the oldest operating Inn in Indiana having first opened in 1832. The original building burned to the ground in 1942 and was rebuilt. The Inn reopened in June of 2013. It is family run with the owners living on the third floor. There are 10 guest rooms, each with a private bath, a guest kitchen/laundry room, a porch for guests to enjoy, a lobby and two dining rooms. We are located on the corner of the only stoplight in Switzerland County and are within one block of several restaurants and other services. We are seven miles from Belterra Casino and twelve miles from the Kentucky Speedway. We are along the Indiana Wine Trail and a great destination for bikers enjoying the hills of southern Indiana.
